Recently, Oxford University and Cambridge University announced the number of offers issued to British secondary schools in 2023. The British media The Spectator sorted out the figures released by the two universities and came up with the top 80 schools with the most offers.
Among them, there are 5 private schools in the top 10 and 9 private schools in the top 20. The number of public schools exceeds that of private schools. 64% of the offers from Oxford and Cambridge were sent to British public schools.
Compared with the data of previous years, the proportion of admissions of the two universities to public schools has increased significantly, from 52% in 2000 to 72%. It can be said that private schools and public high schools are currently on par.

Westminster School ranked first in the UK, with 165 applicants and 69 offers. St Paul's School ranked fourth , with 161 applicants and 53 offers. The Perse School ranked fifth , with 137 applicants and 52 offers. Eton College ranked eighth , with 166 applicants and 48 offers.
